Grand Traverse Bike Tours, a year-round activity-based tour company in Suttons Bay, MI, creates unique and memorable wine tour experiences. Known for their popular Leelanau Wine Trail Bike Tours, GTBT continues to offer one of their signature winter adventures: Sip & Ski.

The Sip & Ski Tour combines cross-country skiing, wine tasting, and local culinary delights in an all-inclusive guided experience. Scheduled for January 19, 2025, and February 2, 2025, from 12:30 PM to 4:00 PM, tickets are priced at $98 per person.

The Adventure:
Participants will ski 5.1 miles along the groomed Leelanau Trail, led by professional guides. The tour begins with a complimentary wine tasting at Shady Lane Cellars, set on a scenic, historic farm. Afterward, skiers traverse the winery’s rolling vineyards before joining the flat, groomed Leelanau Trail. Along the way, guests will enjoy breathtaking views of snow-dusted farms, sweeping vistas, and the tranquil Leelanau countryside.
The journey concludes at Farm Club, a farm-to-table restaurant where guests will savor a warm, hearty bowl of soup and a refreshing beverage. Guests will be shuttled back to the starting point unless they choose to ski the return route for an extra challenge.
