2024 has been an exciting year for Leelanau Cellars, as the northern Michigan winery is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. That celebration continues this fall with the start of another Witches Brew season and the launch of a new wine brand.

Witches Brew Season
Witches Brew has been a staple of the Halloween season, outselling all national Halloween wines per store, and Leelanau Cellars is excited to see it expand across 41 states this fall. It is mulled red wine that features classic fall flavors of cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg, and it can be enjoyed chilled, warmed, or devilishly hot.
“This expansion across the country is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our entire team,” said Leelanau Cellars President Bob Jacobson. “Witches Brew has been a fall tradition in the Midwest for over 25 years, and we’re excited to share it with a wider audience across the nation.”
In recent years, the brand expanded to include Witches Brew Pumpkin Spice and Witches Brew Spiced Apple, another pair of classic fall flavors. You can find all three wines in most grocery stores. You can also try them in Leelanau Cellars’ tasting room and order them online. Drink up, Witches!

Introduced this fall, Zilly features four different varietals – Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Grigio, and Chardonnay – and it can be found in all Meijer stores.
There’s a lot to love about Zilly. The four varietals have brightly colored labels that look great on any bar cart or kitchen counter. They also feature the phrase,” Make The Moment” on the front, a nod to the brand’s goal of helping everyone enjoy all of life’s special moments, both big and small.
